WaterCraft World Magazine Relocates and Announces New Staff
Top editors and writers to handle leading personal watercraft publication.
Ehlert Publishing has appointed a new management team to oversee WaterCraft World, the industry's leading magazine. As part of the change, the sales and editorial functions are being moved from Ehlert's Carson, Calif., facility to its Ventura, Calif., office.
This move will group WaterCraft World with Powerboat magazine, the world's leading performance boating magazine. Ehlert's other boating titles, Trailer Boats and Bass & Walleye Boats, will continue to operate out of the Carson office.
Joining WaterCraft World is a group of experienced marine journalists and an energetic sales staff. Powerboat Associate Publisher Victoria Newton will assume the same role with WaterCraft World, overseeing day-to-day operations of both publications. Powerboat veteran Jeff Johnston will handle national sales, while Brian Lombardi has been named the new regional sales manager for WaterCraft World.
On the editorial side, Gregg Mansfield has been named Editorial Director, while longtime WaterCraft World staffer Jeff Hemmel continues to serve as Senior Editor from his base in Florida. Jason Johnson was appointed to the staff as its new Managing Editor.
Matt Gruhn, former editor of WaterCraft World and current editor of Boating Industry magazine, will serve as Editorial Advisor to the new team.
WaterCraft World is published six times a year with an audited circulation of more than 76,000, the largest in the personal watercraft industry.
WaterCraft World's new address is 2575 Vista Del Mar, Ventura, CA 93001. The editorial and sales staff can be reached at 805-667-4100 or by fax at 805-667-4336.
